Film Night at FACT

This year, our main feature was the excellent ‘Adult Life Skills’, directed by Rachel Tunnard & starring Jodie Whittaker; a film in which the importance of being a twin is a key theme.

Before the main feature, we featured short films on a wellbeing theme. Local artist, Sarah-Louise Gustafson, presented 3 short films which addressed her diagnosis of Aspergers, & which she introduced in person.

These were followed by a 10-minute extract from a new documentary made by Liverpool FC TV. This focuses on former Liverpool player Jason McAteer & the depression he experienced following his retirement from the game. It was a really moving piece of film-making, which was introduced by its makers, Phil Reade & Paul Chialton from LFCTV.
